From files to a live link in three steps
Drop your files
One HTML file, a ZIP, or a folder with an index.html at its root. Files are served exactly as you upload them.
Get a live link
Keep the suggested name or pick your own. Update the site any time and the link stays the same.
Claim it to keep it
No account is needed to publish. Sign in to claim your site, keep it past 7 days and manage it from any device.
Simple hosting on a resilient network
Replicated on Flux
Sites are stored on several independent Flux nodes, so one machine going offline does not take your link down.
One link, every update
Replace your files from Manage. Visitors keep using the same address.
Password-protected pages
Publish a self-contained HTML page as private from the start. Visitors need the password you set.
Sandboxed by default
Every site runs isolated, so an uploaded page cannot read cookies or act on your account.
No build, no setup
No CLI, Git repository or configuration. Plain HTML works, and so do prebuilt React or Vue bundles.
Share anywhere
Copy the link, use your phone’s share sheet, or scan the QR code to open the site on a phone.
Common questions
What can I publish?
Static websites: an HTML file, a ZIP archive or a folder whose root contains index.html. Keep asset links relative, like assets/style.css, so they work under your site address. Drop serves files as uploaded; it does not run a backend or build source code.
Do I need to sign in?
No. You can publish right away, and unclaimed sites are managed from the browser that published them. They expire after 7 days, including after an update. Sign in with Google and claim a site to remove its expiry. Claimed sites also appear in your dashboard.
How do updates work?
Choose Manage on a site and upload a complete replacement. The link stays the same. Drop checks the current version before applying a change, so edits from another browser are never overwritten.
What appears in Explore?
Only claimed, public sites. Password-protected and unclaimed sites are never listed. A preview image can take a moment to appear after an upload or update.
How does password protection work?
Private sites need a password of at least 12 characters and must be a single HTML file with its styles and scripts inlined. Share the link and the password separately.
Do React, Vue or other single-page apps work?
Prebuilt bundles do. Upload the build output (dist/ or build/), not the source, and build with relative asset paths. Because each site is sandboxed, apps that rely on cookies, localStorage or service workers may behave differently.
