Make Me Admin
- Set AdminPassword in ServerSettings.ini (on Flux, Admin Password in Deployment Settings).
- In game, open Settings, then Server Settings.
- Type the password under Make Me Admin. You get the admin panel: spawn items, fly, go invisible, teleport and change the server's rules live.
Tip:Anyone with the admin password can make themselves admin. Share it only with your admins, and change it if it gets out.
RCON
RCON is the Source RCON protocol on TCP 25575, switched on in Game.ini ([RconPlugin] RconEnabled=1, RconPassword, RconPort). These are the commands the Enhanced server lists in its own help:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| listplayers | Who is online: index, character, player, user ID and platform ID |
| broadcast <message> | A message on every player's screen |
| kickplayer platformid <id> <message> | Removes a player (also by index, name or userid) |
| banplayer platformid <id> <message> | Bans a player; unbanplayer <id> lifts it, listbans lists them |
| whitelistplayer <id> | Adds a player to the whitelist (with EnableWhitelist on) |
| GetServerSetting / SetServerSetting | Reads or changes a ServerSettings.ini setting |
| con <player> <command> | Runs a console command as an online player |
| memreport | A memory report into the server log |
Tip:On Flux the Server Console tab speaks RCON from inside the server, with no password or port to set up, and the Players and Bans tabs kick, ban, unban and whitelist with a click. An RCON password for outside tools (a Discord bot) is optional in Deployment Settings.
