Conan Exiles Enhanced Dedicated Server Requirements

Enhanced, on Unreal Engine 5, needs far more memory than the old game. These are the figures we measured on the Linux server, Steam build 25792439.

Memory

In Enhanced the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah are one world, and the server loads both by default. With nobody on, it settled at about 8.4 to 8.8 GB. With the Isle of Siptah left out (ExcludedRegions=IsleOfSiptah in Engine.ini), about 5 GB. Players, thralls, pets and every building add to it, and memory grows over a long session, so plan for headroom.

MapMeasured, nobody onComfortable for
Exiled Lands only~5 GB12 GB for 10 players
Exiled Lands + Isle of Siptah~8.4-8.8 GB12 GB for 10, 14 GB for 20, 18 GB for 40 players

CPU

Idle, the server used about a quarter to a third of one core; loading the world uses more than one. Thralls, NPCs and the number of players in an area are what load it during play, and Unreal's game thread runs on one core, so fast cores matter more than many slow ones.

Disk

The install is about 4.3 GB. An update downloads beside it, Workshop mods come on top, and the world database grows with every base. The world itself is small at first: well under 1 MB for a fresh map.

Network

  • UDP 7777 for the game, and UDP 7778, which the server binds as the game port plus one.
  • UDP 27015 for the Steam query: the server browser and Direct Connect use it.
  • TCP 25575 for RCON, if you turn it on.

Frequently asked questions

How much RAM does a Conan Exiles Enhanced server need?

We measured about 8.5 GB with nobody on for the whole map and about 5 GB for the Exiled Lands alone. 12 GB is the comfortable minimum for a small group on the whole map.

Which ports does a Conan Exiles server use?

UDP 7777 and 7778 for the game, UDP 27015 for the Steam query, plus TCP 25575 for RCON. On Flux each server gets its own block of three public ports, shown in the dashboard; RCON stays private inside the server and you use it from the panel's console.
