Memory
Measured on a fresh world with nobody on (build 756039): about 1.3 GB for the surface and 1.0 GB for the Caves, about 2.2 GB together, steady with the world running. Players, older worlds and mods add to it, which is why the smallest plan here is 3 GB.
CPU
Each world is one process that mostly uses one core, and with nobody on the two together used under half a core. More players and mods use more of each core rather than more cores.
Hardware by plan
| Plan | CPU | RAM | Storage | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 Players | 1.5 vCores | 3 GB | 12 GB SSD | $4.49/mo |
| 8 Players | 2 vCores | 4.5 GB | 15 GB SSD | $5.49/mo |
| 16 Players | 2.5 vCores | 6 GB | 25 GB SSD | $6.99/mo |
Disk
The install is about 4.3 GB. The worlds themselves are small; Workshop mods and the backups take the rest.
Ports
One UDP game port per world: 11000 for the surface, the one players connect to, and 10999 for the Caves, where the game moves players when they go down a sinkhole. Both must be reachable. The two worlds talk to each other on a third port that stays inside the server.
