- It is still starting: the first start downloads about 1.5 GB, and a server registers with Epic Online Services only once Gateway has loaded. Give it a few minutes.
- It cannot start: without the Epic Online Services client id and secret, the log says "Unable to initialize EOS platform" and the server never finishes starting. On Flux the image passes them for you.
- The versions differ: a patch for players means a new server build. An out-of-date server refuses the new client. On Flux the server restarts onto a new build by itself, after a five-minute warning.
- A browser filter hides it: password-protected or full servers can be filtered out. Search by the exact name.
- It lets nobody in: with the whitelist on, only whitelisted players can join; with a password, players need it.
On Flux, the dashboard shows whether the server is up and its RCON answering, the Server Console shows the queue, and the Console tab shows the server's log as it happens.
