Move Your tModLoader World to a Server

A world from your own game moves to a server as it is, with its .twld beside it, as long as the server runs the mods the world was played with.

Where your world is

Windows: Documents\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader\Worlds. Each world is <name>.wld and <name>.twld.

Uploading it

  1. In the Worlds tab, pick both files and Upload.
  2. Add the mods the world was played with (Mods tab).
  3. Press Play on the world: the server restarts onto it.
Tip:Without the .twld, a modded world loses everything its mods placed. Without the mods, their content is kept in the .twld but unloaded until the mod returns.
