BeamMP Server Not Showing Up

A BeamMP server is listed only when it is public and the BeamMP backend accepts its key. Check these in order.

  1. The AuthKey. Without one the server does not run at all; with a refused one the log says "Backend REFUSED the auth key" and its reason. On Flux the Overview tab says which.
  2. Private. A private server is never listed: set Private to false (Server Settings on Flux).
  3. The key used by another server. A key runs one server at a time: give each server its own.
  4. It has just started. The server tells the BeamMP backend about itself every 30 seconds; give it a minute.
  5. The list's filters. Clear the search and the map and tag filters, then search the exact name.
Tip:On Flux, the Overview tab's Server List tile says Listed, Not listed or Private, read from the BeamMP server list itself.

Whatever the list says, players can always join with Direct Connect, using the address and port from the dashboard, once the key is accepted (or the server is private).

Frequently asked questions

What does "Backend REFUSED the auth key" mean?

The BeamMP backend turned the key down; the log line ends with its reason. Copy the key again from keymaster.beammp.com, and make sure no other server uses it.
