Why Host Your Hytale Server on Flux?

Hytale is built for playing together: a world you explore, build and fight in with friends. A dedicated Hytale server keeps that world running around the clock, so everyone plays on their own schedule and nothing depends on one person's PC being on.

Every Hytale server has to be linked to the Hytale account that owns it, through two sign-in codes the server prints in its log. Here the dashboard shows each link and code the moment the server asks, with a new one a click away if it expires, so the part that trips most people up takes two clicks.

Flux is a decentralized cloud of thousands of independent nodes across 50+ countries. Your plan reserves its memory and vCores, the Java heap is sized to it, the server updates itself on every start, backs up its world every hour, and its volume (world and account link included) is synced to a standby node. DDoS protection is included on every plan.

Plans start at $2.99/month, billing is pay-as-you-go with no contract, and your world is downloadable whenever you want it.

We don't sell player slots. The player count on each plan is a guide to what its memory carries comfortably, not a limit we enforce: Max Players is the server's own setting, and it is yours to change.

Hytale Server Features Explained

Your account, linked in two clicks

The Hytale Account tab watches the server's log and shows the sign-in link and code for each of the two steps: the download, then the server itself. The link is kept on the server's volume, so restarts and moves keep it.

Settings in a form

Server name, message of the day, join password, max players, invite-only, game mode and view distance live in config.json, which Hytale reads only when it starts. The Server Settings tab stops the server, writes your changes and starts it again, so they apply straight away.

A console in the browser

See who is on, kick and ban, make operators, manage the whitelist, announce to everyone or run any server command. The commands run on the server's own console, inside the container: nothing is exposed to the internet.

Backups and updates

The server backs up its universe every hour and keeps the last five, and checks for a new Hytale version every time it starts, so a restart is how you update.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our hosting service

Plans start at $2.99/month for 2 vCores, 4 GB of RAM and 15 GB of storage, then $3.99/month for 6 GB, $5.49/month for 3 vCores and 8 GB, and $7.99/month for 4 vCores and 12 GB. Billing is pay-as-you-go with no long-term contract.
Every Hytale dedicated server has to be authorised by a Hytale account that owns the game, first to download the server and then to let players in. The dashboard's Hytale Account tab shows the sign-in link and code as soon as the server asks: open it, approve, and you are done. Each code is valid for 10 minutes; if it runs out, the tab gives you a new one.
Normally no. The link is kept on the server's volume, so restarts, updates and moves to another node keep it. If it is ever lost, the server asks again and the Hytale Account tab shows the new code.
Pick by how many players will be online together and how far they need to see: about 5 players on 4 GB, 10 on 6 GB, 20 on 8 GB, and more on 12 GB. View distance is the biggest lever on the load, and lowering it in Server Settings lets a plan carry more players. You can move up later from the dashboard.
As many as Max Players allows, which you set yourself in Server Settings. We do not sell player slots; the plan's memory is what really limits it.
In Hytale, add the server by its address and port, which the dashboard shows ready to copy. If you set a join password, they type it when they connect.
