- Has the first start finished? The server downloads about 70 GB before the map loads, which takes from one to several hours. The Overview tab says "Checking Steam for an update" until then.
- Is it running? The Overview shows the state: running, restarting, stopped, or crashed (it ended on its own several times and is not restarted again; read the Console tab). "Needs a fix" names the setting to correct in Deployment Settings.
- Is there a Steam token? With none, the server runs but is left out of the browser. The Overview shows a card with the steps.
- Did Steam accept it? A rejected token (revoked, for another game, or used by another server) stops players joining. The Overview says so; make a new token for App ID 730.
- Try connecting by address from the console. If that works, only the listing is missing.
- Clear the browser's filters, and search by name. A listing can take a minute to appear after a start.
- Using plugins? A game update can send the server to safe mode without them. The Plugins tab says when.
