SCUM Server Admins, Bans and Whitelist

SCUM identifies players by SteamID64, a 17-digit number starting 7656119. Each list is a plain text file with one ID per line.

The lists

Finding a SteamID64

Open the player's Steam profile. If its address looks like steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198000000000, the number is the ID. A custom address (steamcommunity.com/id/name) needs a lookup site. On Flux you can paste the profile link instead of the number.

On a Flux server

The Player Lists tab has all six lists, with the name the save knows next to each ID, a badge for who is online, and a roster of every player who has joined. Add by ID or profile link, remove with one click, and restart when you are done, so the game starts with your change. You can also set your own SteamID as admin when you deploy.

Tip:A SCUM dedicated server has no remote console, so kicks are done in the game by an admin.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make myself an admin on a SCUM server?

Put your SteamID64 in AdminUsers.ini and restart. On Flux, add it in the Player Lists tab or in the Admins box when you deploy.

How do I make my server private?

Put the players you want in ExclusiveUsers.ini (the "Only these" list). While it has anyone in it, only they can join. A join password does the same job more simply.
