How the plans are sized
The server itself takes about 10.6 GB with the island loaded and nobody on, measured; the rest of each plan is room for your players and everything they keep loaded. Hosts that sell SCUM size it the same way: on 2026-10-29 Game Host Bros sold 12, 16 and 24 GB at $23.99, $31.99 and $47.99 a month, and Cybrancee 10, 14, 18 and 22 GB at $12.99, $18.99, $24.99 and $29.99. If your community is crowded, step up a plan. The disk holds the 15.5 GB install, the save and the backups.
Included on every plan
- All 437 server settings in a searchable form, with the game's defaults and a reset beside each.
- Admins, bans, a whitelist, a private-server list, silenced players and settings admins, by SteamID or profile link.
- Raid times, the trader economy and scheduled notifications, edited with a JSON check.
- Backups when the server starts and every six hours, restore, download, and a save brought from another server.
- Restarts onto new game builds when the server is empty, and an optional daily restart.
- DDoS protection, and your data synced to a standby node.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a SCUM server cost?
On Flux, $10.99/month for 16 players (4 vCores, 14 GB), $12.99/month for 32 players (5 vCores, 18 GB) and $15.99/month for 64 players (6 vCores, 24 GB), with no contract.
Does the world save when the server stops?
The server cannot be told to save, but its save is a database it writes to all the time, so a stop loses at most the last moments. The save is also copied every five minutes and backed up on start and every six hours.
