Zelcore 8.40: Safer Swaps and Sends

Fluxers! Zelcore 8.40, “Safer Swaps & Sends”, is out on desktop and mobile. Every swap and send now ends with one clear answer, confirmed with the network itself. The release also adds Solana Token-2022 tokens and the top KRC-20 tokens, makes Ledger sends on Ethereum and other EVM chains smoother, and brings Zelcore under its new publisher, InFlux Technologies USA LLC.

Swaps with one clear result

A swap in Zelcore now ends with exactly one status: sent, not sent, or still being confirmed. Rango swaps on Ethereum and other EVM chains, Tron, TON, Cosmos, NEAR and Kadena wait for the network’s answer before they report anything.

  • A screen that follows you. Quotes, amounts and fees update with the pair you pick, Max and the percentage buttons use your live balance, and Rango routes show their network fee up front.
  • Cardano swaps checked before they start. Zelcore checks the deposit against your balance, the fee and the minimum ADA before it creates the order, and Max leaves 0.01 ADA spare.
  • Fusion made simpler. Min suggests a round amount, and legacy Fusion swaps ask for your d2FA PIN.
  • Hardware wallets welcome. Sell works for any hardware wallet that can send the coin, and the swap screen tells you up front when a device can’t be used for a pair.

Sends you can trust

  • Checked before your PIN. Zelcore validates the recipient and amount before you enter your PIN, and confirms the network’s answer for Tron, Bittensor and EVM sends.
  • Ledger, smoother. Sends on Ethereum, Polygon, BSC and Avalanche C-Chain wait for your approval on the device and show one clear message if you reject it or unplug it. Polygon and BSC use the Ethereum app on your Ledger.
  • Payments sent once, always. FluxDrive and Zelcore+ payments are saved before they are sent, so a payment goes out exactly once, even across a restart or an account switch. One still waiting to be credited offers Check now.
  • Full payment notes. Right-click paste keeps the whole note, so payment codes such as CumulusVPN’s arrive complete.

New tokens

  • Solana Token-2022. WINGS, AI16Z, BIO and other tokens on Solana’s newer token program now show their balance and history, and can be sent, received and merged.
  • The top KRC-20 tokens are built in with their names, following the Kaspa work in Zelcore 8.39. Tokens you list on a marketplace show on the token page and count toward your balance.

dApp safety checks

The security screening introduced in Zelcore 8.38 now covers Cardano and Kaspa dApp requests too. Zelcore checks each request before you approve it, warns you when it finds a risk, and lets you check again if a request can’t be checked the first time.

A clearer portfolio

Coins without a market price show a dash, and the portfolio total says how many it leaves out. Small amounts and very low prices are shown precisely, and when a balance can’t be loaded, Zelcore keeps the last known amount and tries again. Under Earn, the Titan APR now includes the yearly 10% step in Flux rewards, the first of which arrived on 26 October.

A new publisher, and a modern core

Zelcore is now published by InFlux Technologies USA LLC. Installed apps keep updating as usual; a freshly downloaded Windows installer may show “Windows protected your PC” for a short while, as Windows gets to know the new publisher. Zelcore desktop also moves to Electron 44, with libraries that load only when you need them. Electron 44 needs macOS 13 or later; Macs on macOS 12 stay on 8.39.

A quick 8.40.1 follow-up arrived a day later, so Sell amounts use the most precise figure each provider offers.
