How the plans are sized
Killing Floor 2 is light when empty and grows with players, matches and workshop content. Squad (4 GB) runs a full squad on the official maps; Squad Plus (5 GB, a third core, 45 GB of disk) leaves room for large workshop maps, mutators and a higher tick rate; Versus (8 GB, 4 vCores) carries twelve players. Disk is the big one: the server files alone are 32 GB.
Included on every plan
- Every setting in a form: mode, difficulty, match length, friendly fire, voting, chat, tick rate.
- A map cycle editor, with Play now, and Steam Workshop maps and mutators.
- A live player list with kick and ban, and a SteamID ban list.
- Backups on start and every six hours, and restarts onto new game builds when the server is empty.
- DDoS protection, and your data synced to a standby node.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Killing Floor 2 server cost?
On Flux, $5.49/month for Squad (6 players, 2 vCores, 4 GB), $7.49/month for Squad Plus (6 players, 3 vCores, 5 GB) and $9.49/month for Versus (up to 12 players in Versus Survival, 4 vCores, 8 GB). Billing is pay-as-you-go with no long-term contract.
Why do the 6-player plans differ?
Both run six players. Squad Plus has the extra core, memory and disk that large workshop maps, mutators and a higher tick rate use.
